1.  Omukekhe na akhetuya saria khukeenda taa. 

    A child (young person) does not fear treading on dangerous ground until he or she       gets hurt (stumbles).  


2.  Siemunda sisuta siekhumurwe. 

     What is in the stomach carries what is in the head. 


3. Okisa buluale khuliulila bililo.

    When a person hides sickness, we will hear cries of distress.
