1. Abayita ababiri bajjukanya (=bejjukanya). 

   Those who walk together warn each other. (Unity is strength)

 2. Ssentamu nkadde, togiteresa munno. 

   You would not entrust an old cooking pot to the care of a friend or associate.

3.   Atannayita: y’atenda nnyina obufumbi (=okufumba)

    The person who has not traveled widely thinks his or her mother is the only cook
